Having Trouble Identifying Weird Vintage Cruiser?

This is a very strange bike. It is a men's bike and all the decals are gone, except for on the front forks where there are like two spikes pointing up with a circle surrounding the spikes in the middle. Beneath that is a larger V and the two spikes and the circle are in between the V . Also strange is the fact that instead of two tubes (upper and lower) it has 4 narrow tubes (2 for each of the regular tubes. Also, it has campy dropouts in back that look pointy (like catwoman glasses). On the left rear drop out, "54x41" and "218159" and "MOY" are stamped. On the seat tube, there is one decal that is square, silver metallic, with a gold band around the bottom and one at the top. Below the gold band on the top, there is a "checkerboard" looking thing that is silver and green. Below that are 6 bands of silver. Anyone know what this is? What make? What model? What year? It's pretty funky... The brake arm says "Bendix".

My guinea pigs are fighting?

Hi, I have four male guinea pigs. They have been homed indoors in pairs in separate cages. I have today put them outside in a large double decker hutch, and they are all fighting. Mainly the two that have been homed together, they never fought when in the indoor cage. I noticed that one of them has some blood on it's cheek, it has had a little nip. Should I persevere keeping them together or do I need to split them back up, and I was wondering why the two that had been homed together are fighting each other. My friend is a karate-ka and his school trains full contact with no gear. There is this individual that is a fellow student that, according to him, lacks self-control with his techniques. On numerous occasions he has hit my friend in the face and though many times it's been an accident, my friend fears that his lack of self-control could potentially hurt the younger students as sometimes the instructors will spar with them. By young I mean individuals from the ages of 12 to 16. Now, recently, this guy broke my friend's nose. The reason why I tell you this is because I asked him if this could go against the guy when he goes to test for his second degree black belt. He said it might not because his kyoshi teaches things for real life situations. I feel that, as a martial artist, there is more to martial arts than just being able to hurt people. My question: Should this guy be allowed to test for his second degree?

So I am a Freshman this year, but everyday of last year I would take a shower at night then straighten my hair in the morning. I didn't use heat protectant until the end of the year and it helped for only a little while. Need help with a table saw.?

I bought an older portable table saw but did not get the wrenches to remove the blade. Using a screwdriver to lock the blade, I cannot seem to be able to remove the arbor nut. I have confirmed it is not left handed thread, as I can see the last few threads of the arbor. I want to try getting proper fitting wrenches to try again, but I am not able to get the size of the collar on the inside. The arbor nut seems to be 15/16". Does anyone know of a way to get the nut off, or, tell me the size if the collar wrench? It is a Black & Decker BDTS100, 10". Thanks

Can my friend be released on some type of motion?

A friend of mine has been to court on multiple occasions for a case since about last year. He has already been to jail for it, but eventually got released on bail. Recently he went to court and there was a witness who testified that he threatened them involving the case. After court he was taken into custody. I'm not sure if him being taking into custody had anything to do with the witness's statement, or if they had plans on taking him into custody before that. But wouldn't they need reasoning for taking him into custody, or can they do so just because of the case at hand? After this court date he had another and the witness came back and testified that they were lying and gave their reasoning to why. Is there some sort of motion for release that can be put in for this? Or no because it may not be the reason they took him in, in the first place.

Primary School And Bullying What Do You Do?

now this might not seem like the best advice, but my son is six years old and was being bullied, kinda had the same mind set of being scared to get in trouble at school. Can bad egr valve cause overheating?

Can a dirty or faulty EGR valve cause overheating. My 2001 PT Cruiser is overheating but only on very hot days and when the air conditioning is on. Back flushed and pressure tested the radiator, changed the thermometer, fluid was low but doesn't seem to be loosing fluid since refilled. Check engine light came on and indicated poor air flow through the EGR valve. Is it worth replacing prior to pulling the radiator to check that for the problem with overheating? Mechanic I trust doesn't think the EGR can cause overheating.

Randomly locking doors....?

I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix with approx. 47,000 miles on it. It recently started to randomly lock while i am driving. It locks when i put into Drive and will stay locked but will make the clicking sounds as if its re-locking itself while i'm driving. This will usually happen about 25 mph. I have,on occasion, had the driver side door stay locked when i unlock the doors. i would manually have to unlock it. what could be the cause and how can i fix it?

New motorcycle clutch won't hold?

I have a new Yamaha stryker 1300 and I feel there is something wrong with the clutch. When i am in any gear at any speed i can't add any power without what to me feels like the clutch slipping even when i am cruising. What are some ways to release my bottled up emotions?

I like to bottle up my emotions. I think its come to a point where I am really bad at communicating my emotions. My parents are divorced and I just absolutely hate my dad and stepmom. My boyfriend works full time as a dish installer/t.v installer. I dont know much about tools but when he called this morning to tell me his drill gave out and he spent 180 on a new one...I WAS LIVID! Which is better for me? A 250 Rebel or a 750 Shadow?

I'm 25, 135 lbs. and 5'10". I have no experience on a motorcycle and am planning on gettin one next year used. Of course im goin to take a training course. I'd be using it for my 20 mile one way trip to work and back home, and for joy riding. I was seriously considering getting a Honda Rebel 250, but I'm worried about not having enough power out on the highway most of my drive consists of. It's a 55 mph limit, but people regularly do 65 on it so I don't want to be run over! The next bike I was considering is a Honda Shadow 750, but my concern with it is it being too heavy for me to handle because of my size, not only driving, but in case it falls on me I want to be able to lift it off. I need an expert opinion and advice. It has to be a cruiser. I'm not into the crotch-rocket thing. Once I'm experienced enough I'd like to add my 115 lb wife on the back, too. That's another reason I was worried bout the Rebel being too small. So any advice or recommendations on which to get are very much appreciated. Thanks!

Fender and door rubbing grinding together and causing loud POP!?

This is for my moms car its a pt cruiser if that helps at all but, my brothers friend was sitting on the front of the car (right around the driver side headlight) And when after that my mom went to open the door and it was stuck shut the fender was pushing against the door. we pulled the fender a little to get the door open it opened and we never thought anything of it but now it constantly pops and gets stuck and the paint is chipping in one spot where you can see its grinding together. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this easily? I get to sit here in beautiful Eagle Point Park in Dubuque and watch the Red Sox while my nephews play on the swing-set and slide. I must admit I've been playing with the slide and the swing-set too. No worries about download caps and the download speed is plenty fast for MLB.tv in the highest quality. It isn't quite as good as the Direct Tv quality, but I can't complain. I realize anyone outside of the tri-state area probably will not know what Eagle Point Park is so I provided some pictures. The pictures do not quite do it justice but you get the idea. There are so many bald eagles here if you live here you have trouble believing they are still an threatened species. The only bad thing is in the winter when their food supply is sparse they will on occasion go for a small cat or a really small dog like a chihuahua which tends to piss you off. The eagles are majestic though.

My friends and I were on our way to a concert, so we went to the parking garage and parked. As soon as we parked we got the ecstasy out of the bag. Motorcycle - what bike should I get?

Right today when I was on the bus, it was a double decker bus by the way. I have both a Black and Decker Power Driver electric hand held and a Dewalt 18v cordless and they're both great for their own purposes. The electric hand held I've had for about 12 yrs, and it's great for small and light work, ( it has the power to drive a sheetrock screw into a 2x4 but it would have to be recharged after 3 or 4 attempts) especially those 4 inch butterfly anchors. You can do light drilling but your bits would have to have a 1/4 inch hex base.The 18v cordless is relatively new and prior to that I only had corded drills - I preferred the torque they supplied. I'm converted now after using the Dewalt - and it takes bits up to 1/2 inch, and the kit came with two batteries and a charger. I'm sorry to say I paid close to two hundred for the kit and it is now on sale at Lowe's for $119. I have drilled concrete with it just to see how it would do - but I prefer a hammer drill for jobs of that magnitude.

Should I worry about my leg?

Agreements signed on my family's story had expired without extensions being added.?

I have sent a formal letter to the filmmakers withdrawing the agreement but they say they still have the rights to the story and will continue with the project. My concern is that they are using my story without a valid agreement. The agreement was signed in 1996 to produce a documentary film but nothing has been done since. There is no sight of a completion date. The agreement has expired on three occasions and had not been extended. When I complained that it was taking too long to make the film they agreed to add an addendum stating that If the film was not completed within nine months of signing date that I would have the right to contact other filmmakers interested in the project. But they have now said that I cannot do this as it would complicate the work they have already done even though they had agreed I could. They have said on one occasion that if I didn't cooperate with them they would continue with the project and that I would not be paid any money when the film was completed. I don't understand why they did not extend the agreement when it had expired.I have correspondence and agreements and would be thankful for some help in checking these. What kind of bike should I get?

I'm 20 years old and never learned how to ride a bike as a child. Some time ago my grade school son was accused of striking a teacher , meeting with the school staff to avoid suspension my son had a psychologist recommended by the school to find out what's wrong (he did not display this behavior at home) long story short the teacher reporting this bad behavior was physically abusing my son by kicking him in the back , on one occasion he fought back in the same manner which prompted the teacher to use the system to punish him. At the school meeting prior to the school recommended psychologist sessions, the teacher who did this revealed herself and her level of rage by acting very defensive to the embarrassment of the school board members. After this incident I lost all faith and trust in school staff , I felt they knowingly lied about the situation. The details not mentioned by this teacher with other children as victims and witnesses came out in a full report to the school. My son is almost thirty now , but I'll never forget that lying teacher . From what I've seen and heard across the country and the corruption going on with school officials and the wasting of funds they deserve to lose their collective bargaining rights. Yesterday, a police officer came up to me and 2 of my friends and said she had a call about a bunch of juveniles starting an arguement in front of a business a few buildings away from us. Why won't my bread machine knead?

My mother had a similar bread machine and like yours, suddenly stopped kneading. With ours the machine part just wore out and we ended up getting a new one. I'm not sure how expensive the one you have is but ours was a medium ranged priced and lasted a little over a year. My best guess is that the machine is broken. Can you add a front-brake/caliper to a cruiser bike?

Hello, I am looking into a new 4x4. I am a big fan of Toyota and really like the FJ Cruiser but that is well out of reach. I have also looked into other Toyota 4x4s and I have always like the Tacomas and 4runners. While looking for a Tacoma to get, I found a black 2004 4runner v8 with 94,000 miles on it.It's not the miles I'm worried about, I am well aware of the fact that Toyota makes the longest lasting vehicles. How do I make my 70's schwinn cruiser lower?

The bike in the video has a customized fork. The frame has not been modified to make it lower, it was that small to start with. No way to tell, but the rider is probably a lot taller than you are. Smaller wheels is not the solution, that would make the saddle lower to the ground, but the pedals would also be lower making it likely they would hit the ground when you lean into a turn. Smaller wheels would also affect the way the bike handles. If your saddle is all the way down and you still find the bike is too big for you, the only way to fix things is to find a smaller frame.

Need help finding a fridge (10 points)?

Okay so on my boat we have a 1988 sea ray aft cabin cruiser very nice boat but our fridge gave out =(. We bought a new one though moving it in got a giant gash on the side and turns out its a little too small. We need a fridge so we have been looking for one for a while with no luck. If anyone could find a fridge that can fit my measurements or almost my measurements it would be amazing and a lot of help. We have a cabinet above our fridge that can be taken down if necessary so i will have 2 measurements not just one. Ones with the cabinets and ones without the cabinets. The one with cabinets is : 56 3/4" long 28 1/4" wide and 27" deep. The measurement without cabinets is : 64" long 28 1/4" wide and 27" deep.

Should I Get A Motorcycle?

Hello, I'm 17 years old and was contemplating getting a cruiser style motorcycle, because I've always been intrigued by them and wanted to become a rider. The only times I would basically ride it is to school and back in order to save gas money. Possibly sometimes on the weekend in close proximity to my house. I, trying to be humble, honestly have a lot to live for and don't want to get in a crash and become paralyzed or dead. I'm very responsible and never speed and I would drive fairly defensively, mainly trying to get away from any cars. So would it be worth it to get the motorcycle under these circumstances. Haircut before basics help?

Hybrids and comfort bikes have a more upright position so less strain on your neck and back but comfort bikes have wider tires like a mountain bike which is great if your on gravel but slower if your on paved road. hybrids have a skinnier tire than the comfort/mountain bike but wider than racing style"10 speeds" and also they are a larger diameter making each pedal count more.Also make sure it fits, as in the frame size, seat, etc or thats gonna be the longest, most uncomfortable ride of your life!

My Dwarf hamster cant drink from Bottle?

I got two baby Dwarf Hamsters yesterday, I've noticed since I got them that whenever they try to drink from the water bottle that nothing comes out (Yes I did fill it with water) I poked the end with my finger and water came out fine, but it took a little bit of force. Im worried my Hamsters tounges are not strong enough to push the ball inside, So since this morning I've been watering them from a medicine dropper once every 3-5 hours. And I put lettuce in the cage since it has lots of water in it, And they've been it eating non-stop. But hat should I do? What water bottles would be easier for them to drink from? And how many times a day should I be watering them form the Medicine dropper until I get a new water bottle? The water bottle that I have in te cage is the one that comes wiht CritterTrail Double decker habitat, If that helps at all.

The yahoo email that i've had for 3 years is suddenly not working and I have no idea why. Does a motorcycle's windshield provide more stability at highway speeds(55-70 mph)?

My bike is a lighter weight 500cc cruiser with a standard seating position (Honda Magna v30). I've ridden at 60-65 mph and sometimes it felt like the wind was trying to catch in my chest and pull the bike in a different direction. Would throwing on a chin-high windshield help with this?

Problems with my A/C in my 2007 PT Cruiser?

two weeks or so ago my car started to blow out warm air. and no matter what settings i had it on it wouldn't get colder one bit. So i took it into Firestone yesterday. they said that they couldn't find an obvious leak so they had to use this die. well whatever they ended up doing worked for a second but than it went right back to blowing warm air. So now they call me and tell me that they ordered valves and they are going to put them in and see if that is the problem. Now what are valves and what do they have to do with the AC? this is my first car and first time dealing with an auto shop and i know basically nothing about cars. i don't want get screwed over. or end up spending a crap load of money. So please any advise will help..
