What are my rights in this situation?
Yesterday, a police officer came up to me and 2 of my friends and said she had a call about a bunch of juveniles starting an arguement in front of a business a few buildings away from us. At the time of the alleged incident we were not around, but at the time a cruiser showed up, we were about 100 feet away from where it happened. The officer told us that she needed our names, addresses, contact numbers, and DOB. She ran a warrant check on us and we were clean so she filled out a paper that had our height, weight, hair/eye color on it. We were on bikes and only stopped to get water at a restaurant. We had been biking for hours and never once had an arguement. We were also never in front of the place. We are also minors. We live in Ohio if that makes a difference. My question is, did I have to talk to her? And if I refused to, could she have arrested me? What would happen if I told her that I'm not going to and she tried to arrest me and I refused to?
