New motorcycle clutch won't hold?

I have a new Yamaha stryker 1300 and I feel there is something wrong with the clutch. When i am in any gear at any speed i can't add any power without what to me feels like the clutch slipping even when i am cruising. I dont know if this normal for a Cruiser as this is my first one, or does it need adjusted or broke in (only has 50 miles)
