A senior moment joke while speeding.?

a retired gentleman visited his car dealer and came away with a convertible, He left the dealership and put pedal to the metal on the freeway. Oh this is great he thinks to himself while the wind is whipping through his hair. He speeds up to 80 then 100 and still he is gaining speed and has it the car up to 125 klm/ph. He looks back into the mirror and sees a police cruiser descending upon him, Oh he thinks I can outrun him, and pushes the car up to 140 klm/ph, until he suddenly realizes what am I doing anyway and slows down and stops. The policeman gets out of his car walks over to him and says. "Look buddy, I have ten minutes left on my shift and it is Friday and I am off for the weekend. So if you can come up with a good excuse why you were speeding, one I have never heard before I will let you go. The gentleman says "You see officer, my wife left with a policeman years agao and I thought you were bringing her back." Have a good weekend the police man said, and dont let me catch you speeding again.
