Can you use a front wheel/rim as the back wheel/rim of a schwinn cruiser?

Typically no. Back wheels usually have more sprockets because they support 80% of the weight. If you find one that works (have the same number of spokes), then yes. You will have to have someone to custom build it and that will be more expensive than a whole new wheel assembled in a factory.
